Sarah Dossevi was among the first guests of The Rallyes, at Rally 001 in Dubai. She is the founder of WUnite, the private network for the partners of professional football players. As told to The Rallyes.

I'm Sarah Dossevi. I'm Iranian, grew up in Germany, and now live in Paris with my husband and our two children. My husband is a former professional football player. I hold a Master's degree in Hotel and Event Management, and I speak four languages.

The inspiration behind WUnite came from a very real experience: we moved four times in four years. I realised I couldn't be the only woman going through this. I had identified a genuine need and wanted to create the solution: an app, a tool every woman could hold in the palm of her hand to connect with other football players' partners living the same reality, supporting one another and growing stronger together.

In 2021, the first application dedicated to the partners of professional football players was born. Five years later, it brings together 1,300 football players' partners.

The concept

WUnite is a private network dedicated to the partners of professional football players: the WeUs. It is a confidential circle where every member is verified before joining.

• An app for conversations, connections and everyday support.
• Gatherings that bring members together through private experiences.
• Business and investment advisory, connecting members with trusted partners in real estate, wealth management and selected opportunities.

WUnite also supports its members through relocations linked to a player's career, and through major life changes.

The LOFI Gala

The Oscars of Influential Women is WUnite's annual year-end gala, bringing together football players' partners from Miami, the UK, Hong Kong and Japan to Saudi Arabia, Dubai and across Europe. An afternoon of business and personal development, then an evening of awards: Charity of the Year, Business of the Year, WeUs of the Year. The Ballon d'Or for football players' partners.

An international vision

In 2027, WUnite will expand beyond football into other sports, including basketball, American football, baseball and rugby. In 2028, it will open its doors to the partners of diplomats and military personnel. And the ambition goes further: to connect women around the world who share a similar journey, shaped by frequent relocations, new countries and the constant challenge of rebuilding a life from scratch.
